OMEGA Seamaster Olympic Official Timekeeper 2020 Limited Edition - Black
With a 70's styled bold stopwatch-inspired design and a minimal amount of Olympic-specific branding, this Seamaster offers an appeal that isn’t just limited to those interested in the 2020 Olympics. It also commemorates Omega’s 86-year history as the Official Timekeeper for the games on the caseback.
39.5mm diameter, 12mm thick and a svelte lug to lug make this comfortable to wear. A soft leather strap in black matches the Olympic logo and seconds hand on the dial This is a a very comfortable, daily wear watch.
Omega’s Olympic-themed limited editions come in a wide range of subtlety and many offer a more niche appeal when compared to the standard model of the same watch. This one has an easy-to-read minute track, as well as a black pulse reader that enables the wearer to calculate their pulse beats-per-minute.
Sporting a small application of the Olympic rings under the date display at six, the design connection with the Olympics is understated and nicely accented by the use of distinct black and white colour scheme
On the caseback, there is a black anodized aluminium ring which includes all known host cities and dates from OMEGA’s Olympic Games journey, from Los Angeles 1932 up to Los Angeles 2028.
Inside, the watch is driven by the Master Chronometer calibre 8800. Only 2,032 versions of this model have been created, with the Limited Edition number engraved on the side of the case.
