TUDOR Heritage Black Bay Steel 79730

 This Tudor Black Bay Steel is an evolution of the original Black Bay, with two key changes, It has a date window and most notably a steel bezel, which has replaced the coloured aluminium inserts 

The new steel bezel gives a different look to the Black Bay it has a more, technical, casual a less vintage-inspired look. This steel ring is circular brushed and engraved with the 60-minute diving scale, also quite different from the shiny, flat and dark bezel seen on previous Black Bays. This is the coolest of tool watches 

The date window on the Black Bay is also new and obviously practical on a daily basis. It also gives the dial a more modern look too. Other than that, everything else on the dial is as you would expect it has the large markers, that snowflake hand and the Tudor shield.

One of the great attributes of the Tudor Black Bay Steel is the in-house movement. With a power reserve of 70 hours, the Manufacture Calibre MT5612 is not only completely made by Tudor, but it is also COSC certified. This is locked away under  the recognizable and very plain case back
