The slightly broader Oyster bracelet on this model accentuates the more shapely and contour-rich watch. there is no longer a step on difference between the watch and bracelet.  the whole shape just flows better now.

The updated 3230 caliber provides you with a 70-hour power reserve (nearly 50% more than the 48 hours offered by the caliber 3130 in the ref. 114060) and Rolex's proprietary Chronergy escapement, which makes for a more efficient and reliable watch over time. but it also means that you should be able to get that kind of precision out of your Submariner for much longer before it needs a service.

The update with  the bracelet hasn't affected the clasp, which remains unchanged, but it is still one of the best systems available, so there was no need. The signature flip-lock enclosure ensures stability and the Glidelock extension system allows for quick  adjustments. The series of notches allow you to slide the bracelet forward and backward in increments of 2mm. This allows for great sizing adjustments for when your wrist expands and contracts
