OMEGA Speedmaster Tokyo Olympics 2020 - Rising Sun

As the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games, Omega always presents limited editions dedicated to this major sports event. With Tokyo 2020 they launched 5 Speedmasters each representing the colours of the Olympic rings and continents.

Based on the classic Speedy Professional Moonwatch (sapphire crystal version), this red model 522.30.42.30.06.001 has  a 42mm asymmetrical case, brushed and polished, external tachymeter scale on the bezel, calibre 1861 hand-wound with the 3-6-9 layout for the chronograph, 3-link steel bracelet. 

The Speedmaster’s famous tachymeter scale is shown on a red anodized aluminium bezel ring and instead of a sapphire caseback this red Olympic model features a solid steel back stamped with the Tokyo 2020 logo.
The bracelet and casing are made from high-grade stainless steel, while the light grey dial features a sandblasted texture to ensure maximal legibility in a variety of lighting conditions.
