Inspiration:The design of the Dynamic III collection, which includes the 5200.50.00, was inspired by the utilitarian style of military watches that Omega provided to British forces during World War II.
Timeline:The Dynamic IIIwas introduced in 1995 or 1997 and produced for a relatively short time, with its production run ending around 1999.
Design elements:It features a matte black dial with Arabic numerals and a railway track minute scale, high contrast and high legibility. It has a smaller case size (36 mm) compared to its chronograph counterpart and includes a date display at the 3 o'clock position. The watch has a brushed finish and is fitted with a 19mm three-link stainless steel bracelet.
Tritium to Super-Luminova:Early models of the Dynamic III used tritium for luminescent numerals, giving them a yellowed appearance. In 1998, Omega switched to Super-Luminova, which changed the numerals from yellow to white, leading to variations between examples.

Movement:The 5200.50.00 is powered by the automatic Omega caliber 1108 movement, which is based on the ETA 2892-A2 movement but without the chronograph module.
