TAG HEUER Monaco CAW2111.FC6356
The distinctive square case. The retro good looks. The eye-catching blue dial. It all works together to make the Monaco so iconic. Even at 50 years old, the Monaco still has what it takes
The dial – shimmering in different shades of blue – is very consistent, legible and has the unique old-school appearance. You’ll find on it two square sub dials with matching rounded corners: one is a small second (at 3 o’clock) and the other is 30-minute counter (at 9 o’clock). In both cases they have small red hands. The other two – hour and minute hands – are steel and filled with luminova. the dial is secured by the domed sapphire crystal, protruding above the surface of the case.
The 39mm casing is in the shape of a square - but with a rounded edges. The steel case is almost entirely brushed. The only polished parts are bevelled edges, most of the lugs, crown and chronograph buttons side part.
The Calibre 12 ticks with a standard frequency of 4Hz (28,000 A/h) and has a power reserve of 40 hours. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters and is completed with a dark blue alligator leather strap with a deployment clasp
This TAG Heuer Monaco stands out from the crowd and when most watch fans think of the Monaco they automatically think of the blue dialled version, such was the impact of Steve McQueen - that's how cool this watch is
