TAG HEUER Carrera Juan Manuel Fangio F1 - Limited Edition

Juan-Manuel Fangio, also known as "El Maestro" defied the limits of time. In fact, racing drivers over 30 were considered too old. But Fangio made his debut in the highly competitive Formula 1 world at 37. He was world champion five times and is still considered one of the greatest racing drivers of all time.

As a tribute to the great racing driver, TAG Heuer designed the Carrera Caliber 16 Juan Manuel Fangio Special Edition. This chronograph has a screwed case back, which is provided with a special FANGIO decoration and a "Juan Manuel Fangio" lettering. The bezel is also provided with a tachymeter scale, which gives the watch a motorsport flair and is reminiscent of Fangio's exceptional skills.

This handsome Carrera timepiece carries TAG Heuer's peerless Calibre 16 automatic mechanism, a high watermark in accuracy and reliability. The movement contains 21 jewels and has a 42 hour power-reserve  

Housed beneath the scratch resistant sapphire crystal with antireflective treatment is a classic black dial that contrasts beautifully to the silver accented silver sub dials and silver-toned hour and minute hands.  All are are highly polished and the the hands and markers are lined with beige luminescent treatment. 

Measuring 41mm in diameter, and water resistant to 100m the TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 16 Chronograph is a highly wearable size that is suitable for a broad spectrum of would-be wearers.
